I received my Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy studies from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and then attended Texas State University to obtain my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. My background experience involves a variety of settings including outpatient, long-term acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation with certified Amputee, Stroke, Pulmonary, TBI, and Parkinson’s Rehabilitation programs, allowing me to gain a diverse skillset. Patient populations that I am familiar with, and have a passion for include geriatrics, orthopedic, post-operative care, neurologic diagnoses such as stroke, TBI, and Parkinson’s Disease, general weakness, balance training, and more. My time spent as an inpatient rehabilitation PT has allowed me to value the need for continued care that many individuals require post-hospitalization or injuries and the importance of general health and wellness. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my husband and our two dogs or traveling back “home” to South Texas to visit family and friends. I am new to the North Texas area, so I also enjoy exploring and discovering new places with great food!
